A surgeon who advocates for less-invasive options first
Dr. Yasmeh's clinical philosophy is rooted in evidence-based care — focusing on procedures that minimize risk and maximize recovery. He customizes each treatment plan based on the patient's individual needs, lifestyle, and goals, with clear and honest communication every step of the way.
After earning his medical degree from the Keck School of Medicine at USC, Dr. Yasmeh trained at LAC + USC Medical Center, one of the country's most demanding orthopedic surgery residency programs. Driven by a passion for spinal health, he advanced his training through a fellowship in spine surgery at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health — where he refined his skills in minimally invasive techniques, spinal decompression, fusion procedures, and motion-preserving laminoplasty.
He has contributed to the field through peer-reviewed research published in the journal Spine and has presented at both national and international conferences. Today, Dr. Yasmeh practices at Los Angeles Orthopedic Surgery Specialists with offices across Greater Los Angeles.
